Description
Suicide is a leading cause of death in among incarcerated individuals and those who are involved in the criminal legal system, making a suicide prevention program arguably the most important program in any correctional facility or community based correctional setting. This presentation provides a practice-based overview of the suicide prevention components implemented in North Dakota after a tragic loss, based on an array of evidence-based and culturally responsive practices.
