Placement in segregated housing causes distress and mental health challenges. Discover methods of adapting skills associated with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into treatment for incarcerated people placed in segregated housing and learn about a program that provides psychoeducation and exercises using DBT skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and motivational interviewing. Skills enhance individuals' ability to cope with placement in segregation and reduce likelihood of engagement in behaviors that may lead to placement.
