Name
212 Creation of a Community Advisory Board: Harm Reduction for Reentry
Description

This poster describes how medical students at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences are leading an initiative to help reduce deaths from overdose through implementation of a curriculum for people leaving incarceration, when they are at the highest risk of overdose. The curriculum and its delivery is informed by a community advisory board, which helps ensure it is shaped by individuals with lived experiences, operational insight, and public health expertise.
