Ms. Andeulazia Murdock is a medical student at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College and a Fulbright alumna (Brazil). Ms. Murdock is particularly passionate about addiction medicine, where she believes that a humanistic approach, combined with modern medical care, can be life-changing for individuals and their communities. As a medical student, she has taken active roles in advocacy and service. She participates in Advocates for Harm Reduction through the student-run Healing Clinic, serves as a student leader on an Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Student Service Leadership grant focused on introducing harm reduction curricula to correctional facilities, and volunteers with Goucher College's Prison Education Partnership. Ms. Murdock looks forward to a career dedicated to service, where she can leverage her training and experiences to advance health equity.
