This session will address the multifaceted risks of HIV-associated comorbidities, coinfections, and complications in correctional environments, offering practical, evidence-based strategies for prevention, monitoring, and management. Participants will strengthen their knowledge of antiretroviral therapy classes, including resistance patterns, drug--drug interactions, and safety considerations. Emphasis will be placed on individualized care planning and the integration of newer ART options into clinical practice. This session aims to reduce disease progression, improve quality of life, and support appropriate care for incarcerated individuals living with HIV.
