Self-injurious behavior continues to challenge behavioral health systems across settings. This session examines the clinical features and underlying drivers of SIB, including biological, psychiatric, and psychosocial factors linked to suicide risk. Explore diagnostic challenges, current treatment approaches, and emerging pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic interventions that support more effective, compassionate responses for individuals engaging in self-injury.
