Therapeutic living units create structured environments that support recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. This session examines Alberta’s implementation of TLUs across four correctional facilities using a Therapeutic Community model focused on accountability, healthy behavior, and peer support. Participants will explore how these environments strengthen recovery and prepare individuals for successful reintegration into the community.
