Description
Many providers still feel unprepared to initiate buprenorphine treatment in correctional settings. This research presentation explores how targeted education using the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration induction algorithm can address knowledge gaps and improve provider readiness. Examine findings from an intervention designed to strengthen confidence, clinical decision-making, and access to treatment for opioid use disorder in custody settings.
