Continuity of care often breaks down between community treatment and reincarceration. This study explores how polysubstance use profiles documented during community opioid treatment relate to medications for opioid use disorder prescribing during incarceration. Examine opportunities to improve continuity, strengthen prescribing practices, and support more coordinated treatment approaches across correctional and community health systems.
