Menopause is not only a health care issue – better recognition and management of symptoms can support communication and day-to-day functioning, staff interactions, and the overall facility operations, even lowering the cost of patient care. This roundtable will discuss Impact Justice’s California Menopause Project as an example of what menopause care and education can look like in prisons, including patient education, provider training, peer support, clinical tools, and efforts to improve access to care.
