Dr. Seth Stabinsky is a board-certified ObGyn who has been the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Chief Medical Officer in California since 2022. Prior to that time, he was a provider and site medical director for the Arizona State Prison system for almost eight years. He is a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in NJ as well as a Society of Reproductive Surgeons Fellowship at Stanford University. He received CCHP designation in 2014, CCHP-P in 2017, and CCHP-A in 2023. Also in 2023, he became a Fellow of the American College of Correctional Physicians. He is a member of the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals and the NCCHC Committee on Systemic Racism. Prior to moving to correctional health care, Dr. Stabinsky has been in private, public, and academic medical practice and spent eleven years in the medical device industry. He enjoys spending time with his wife, five children, and two grandchildren.
