Ms. Tianna Hammock, MS, is the Health Services Administrator for Adult Correctional Health, overseeing two large jail healthcare systems in Sacramento County. She has been auditing and monitoring the compliance with a class action lawsuit specific to healthcare services and is making the changes necessary to move into overall compliance. Mrs. Hammock has been instrumental as the lead for the County Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) expansion grant to increase the use of MAT within the County jail systems. In addition, she has assisted in writing numerous policies and rolling out related healthcare processes to achieve compliance with the May's Consent Decree, NCCHC Standards and community standards. Prior to her County employment, Mrs. Hammock had an 18-year career in Behavioral Health services, 15 years spent in a leadership capacity in both direct community care and at the State level auditing and monitoring County Behavioral Health Systems. Mrs. Hammock has years of experience presenting at national conferences on Drug Treatment Courts and effective Substance Use treatment. Mrs. Hammock is a Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) and has a passion for serving incarcerated individuals.
