Ms. Keisha Williams currently holds a dual role as the Responsible Health Authority and Director of Nursing. Keisha has been with the Hampden County Sheriff's Office in the Health Services Department for 23 years. Ms. Williams oversees health services operations at four facilities within the HCSO which includes direct supervision of all Nursing Managers and Supervisors and all Providers. She has oversight of programs such as the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), Mental Health Services, Pharmacy and Medical Support Services, and all associated grant programs..such as the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), Mental Health ServiceNurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She holds a Master's Degree of Science in Nursing Education from Elms College and is also certified as a Correctional Healthcare Provider (CCHP), Mental Health Services, Pharmacy and Medical Support Services, and all associated grant programs. Ms. Williams has been instrumental in many new program endeavors such as the development of a full Health Services Program for the Stonybrook Stabilization and Treatment Center as well as the implementation of the Opioid Treatment Program. In 2022, Keisha also played an active role in the implementation of the Peer Mentorship Program, which assists other facilities in establishing or augmenting an OTP.  Keisha has exemplified servant leadership, a core value of the Hampden County Sheriff's Office. Not only serving the patient population, she has been at the forefront of creating protocol and policy change for patients and staff alike that promote health and safety throughout each facility. Keisha is a Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusett. She holds a Master's degree of Science in Nursing Education from Elms College and is also certified as a Correctional Healthcare Provider (CCHP).
