Jacqueline Cruzado is a public health professional with over 30 years of direct service, supervisory, and management experience in the field of correctional public health, health education and disease prevention, and team building across systems. As owner of ACOJA Consulting, she provides consulting services and addresses community collaborations in NYC, Camden, Paterson, Raleigh, Las Vegas and across the islands of Puerto Rico. She is skilled in program design and development, translational research, and jail-based population management. She served as NYC Correctional Health Services as Director of Reentry & Continuity Services, managing federal grant funded programs and was instrumental to the development expansion and enhancement of Transitional Care Coordination, a nationally recognized evidence-informed intervention.
