Dr. Laura Driscoll is a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College. She also serves as the director of faculty diversity & inclusion at Sargent College. Dr. Driscoll recently earned her PhD in gerontology from UMass Boston's McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies, where her dissertation focused on health care provision for older adults in a Massachusetts jail. She is involved in an ongoing partnership between Boston University and the Middlesex County Jail and House of Correction. This collaboration aims to provide geriatric-focused, interprofessional rehabilitation for incarcerated older adults, with the goal of improving health outcomes and supporting successful community reentry.
