Dr. Stewart MacLennan is director and associate professor (teaching) in the faculty of nursing and adjunct associate professor in the faculty of medicine at the John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre at the University of Alberta. Dr. MacLennan?s research focuses on ethics and pain in correctional settings. He established the nurse practitioner role in Alberta Health Service?s Correctional Health Division and continues to practice as a nurse practitioner at the Edmonton Remand Center, Canada?s largest correctional institution.
