Dr. Salomon has been employed with the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections (LMDC) since 2019. She is currently the evaluation & data analytics administrator at the LMDC focusing on improving data collection and measurement, program evaluation, survey design and administration for both staff and the incarcerated, and evaluation of staff training curriculum. She is also a member of LMDC's staff peer support team. Prior to her current role Dr. Salomon was a substance abuse/medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program coordinator at LMDC where she implemented innovative medications for opioid use disorder/MAT and harm reduction initiatives. She has over 25 years of experience in the criminal legal system working for various agencies including Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation & Parole, Kentucky's Jefferson County Attorney's Office, and Louisville Metro Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit. She holds a PhD in interdisciplinary studies and an MS in justice administration.
