Ms. Saya Sarma graduated with a BS in human development in aging from the University of Southern California (USC) Davis School of Gerontology in May 2024. She has received the Thematic Option Honors Award, Gerontology Honors Award, and the Discovery Scholar Award for her research on aging. During her time at USC, she served as the executive director of Advocates for Healthy Aging. She also interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney Elder Abuse Unit and the National Center on Elder Abuse. She is currently working with the USC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Kaiser Permanente Neurology Department, and she volunteers at senior centers across Los Angeles County.
