Colonel Rene De La Rosa is a retired U.S. Army Nurse Corps officer with 25 years of military service and extensive experience in correctional and institutional health care. Currently serving at the Dallas County Jail through Parkland Health, she has also provided care in diverse environments, including the Abu Ghraib prison complex and the Alaska Department of Corrections. Colonel De La Rosa earned nursing degrees from the University of Texas at Tyler and Benedictine University. She remains committed to delivering high-quality care to justice-involved populations and advancing excellence in correctional nursing.
