Ms. Megan Hughes is a physician assistant with more than 20 years of experience in correctional health care at PrimeCare Medical. She serves as clinical operations regional manager, where she oversees physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across multiple facilities. Licensed in six states, Ms. Hughes has dedicated more than two decades to caring for patients in county jail systems. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she oversees provider onboarding and trains new clinical staff on policies and electronic workflows. She also was selected to help develop PrimeCare Medical's new electronic health record system. Ms. Hughes earned a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Master of Medical Science from DeSales University.
