Dr. Bivens works for Wellpath as the lead psychiatrist at the Collin County Detention Center near Dallas. She has over 25 years of clinical experience in the treatment of schizophrenia and severe and persistent mental illness in various settings including outpatient (ACT team, OCR, AOT), psychiatric ER, and corrections. For the past 13 years she has served as a correctional psychiatrist: first at the Dallas County Jail and as of 2015, in the Collin County Jail.
