Antimicrobial resistance poses a great threat to global health, but little attention has been paid to AMR in the carceral setting. This talk describes the use quantitative benchmarking data and qualitative barrier/facilitator assessment to inform the implementation and assess the progress of the antimicrobial stewardship programs in Massachusetts jails and prisons.
