Rebecca Tenner is a senior at Tufts University Undergraduate School of Arts & Sciences, majoring in biology and community health. She is working with Dr. Alysse Wurcel at Tufts Medical Center to investigate Antimicrobial Stewardship and Prescribing Practices in MA Correctional Settings. Rebecca has received several awards and honors, such as the Class of 1947 Victor Prather Prize, Stuart B. Levy CIMAR Undergraduate Summer Internship for Underrepresented Groups in Science and Medicine Scholarship, and Summer Scholar Program Grant to support her in conducting this research. As Ms. Tenner looks to graduate, she aims to take some years off from her formal education and do clinical volunteer work in Latin America to advance her skill in working with Spanish-speaking communities. Eventually, Rebecca hopes to attend medical school and continue her trajectory on the path of infectious disease.
