Quality assurance activities occur at the individual patient level and system level and are designed to identify areas of strength and areas in which improvement is needed and to guide implementation of strategies that improve and enhance medical and behavioral health care. This presentation will explain how one state built a robust quality assurance program using a variety of audit tools and indicators to assess compliance with policy and standards.
