This interactive session uses cases from a community jail to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities of providing care. Using a multidisciplinary model, the presenters will review each case from the perspectives of nursing, primary care provider, and mental health and will explore themes of desensitization, limited differential diagnoses, and challenges of a mental health diagnosis presenting as a physical complaint and a physical complaint as a mental health diagnosis.
