Dr. Michael Berger is a surgical podiatrist who specializes in wound care and limb preservation. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland where he majored in nursing. He worked as an OR and correctional nurse for 4 years before returning to Temple University in Philadelphia for his medical training, where he graduated in 2015.  Dr. Berger completed his internship at Temple University Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in North Philadelphia and went onto complete his residency in southern New Jersey. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Berger started with Corizon Health, now YesCare Corp. as their statewide wound care specialist where he has been since July 2019. Dr. Berger holds a specialty certification in wound care and is currently Board Eligible with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow in the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing and an Associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
