Ms. Melissa Caffes has been a registered nurse working in correctional healthcare for nearly 14 years. She oversees the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center including the following departments: medical, mental health, and a robust MOUD program. Her experience in corrections includes oversight of a juvenile facility, as an HSA in maximum and medium security prisons, and at the county workhouse. She is also adjunct faculty for the School of Nursing for University of St. Thomas and Herzing University.
