Dr. Cox has been an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina's College of Nursing for more than twenty years. Her clinical practice as a pediatric nurse pratitioner is at the SC Department of Juvenile Justice. She received her BSN from the Medical University of South Carolina, her Master of Nursing from Emory University, and her PhD in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research areas focus on adolescent risk behaviors.
