Dr. Steven Hammond has a PhD in clinical psychology and also holds an MD with advanced training in internal medicine and endocrinology. He earned his Master's in Health Administration from the University of Washington in 2003. For 16 years, he had a community practice at The Everett Clinic. He was a Medical Consultant with Washington State Medicaid for 4 years. In 2008, he joined the WA Dept of Corrections as Director of Medical Services and he is currently the Chief Medical Officer. His main interests include: health policy; health care reform; population health management.
