Dr. Jessica Raak is regional director of mental health at Wellpath, where she oversees mental health services across approximately 20 county jails. She began her correctional mental health career in 2012 as a mental health professional in a maximum-security program in Arizona. Throughout her career, she has served as a contract monitor, mental health director at Arizona’s largest state prison, and member of the regional mental health team overseeing services across 10 state prisons. Dr. Raak holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling, is a licensed professional counselor, and earned a PhD in criminology and criminal justice.
