Dr. Jessica Raak is a regional mental health director at Wellpath, where she oversees services for approximately 20 county jails. She began her correctional career in 2012 in the Arizona prison system as a mental health professional in a maximum-security program. She later advanced to a contract monitor role and became the mental health director at Arizona’s largest state prison. She concluded her tenure in Arizona as part of the regional mental health team, overseeing services across 10 state prisons. Dr. Raak holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling, is a licensed professional counselor, and completed her internship at the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer, Alabama. She also earned a PhD in criminology and criminal justice.
