Lieutenant Commander Rebekah Stewart is an infectious disease epidemiologist and board-certified family nurse practitioner who works in the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination at CDC where she investigates TB outbreaks and provides subject matter expertise on TB prevention and control. She has authored or co-authored more than 20 publications related to infectious diseases and represents her division in the CDC Correctional Health Workgroup. Prior to working in TB, she completed a post-graduate fellowship as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. She is currently a Public Health Service Officer and a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
