Dr. Aylin Unal is a clinical pharmacist who has been working with Correct Rx Pharmacy Services and Delaware Department of Corrections since 2020. Dr. Unal has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University Maryland School of Pharmacy and went on to complete an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited PGY1 Community-based pharmacy residency with Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Pharmacy & Kroger Health. Dr. Unal is an integral member of the patient care team, working with providers and nurses to deliver optimal pharmaceutical care for the incarcerated at one of the largest facilities in the state of Delaware. In 2022, Dr. Unal was awarded the Commitment to Service Award on behalf of Correct Rx for her exemplarily passion for patient care and the work she has done to revamp the antibiotic stewardship program.
