Ms. Lesley Wimmer received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University in 2008 and is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona. She has worked with a diverse population of clients in a variety of settings throughout her 15 years in the behavioral health profession. She is the Director of Government and Strategic Affairs for Community Medical Services, an opioid treatment program operating 52 clinics across ten states. Her crucial role involves overseeing the agency’s relationship with state and federal regulators and monitoring state and federal regulations that impact treatment for opioid use disorder. Additionally, Ms. Wimmer has been instrumental in the launch of many of Community Medical Services’ correctional projects in several states.
