Description
Integrating correctional clinics with academic nursing programs creates mutual benefits by improving health care delivery and nursing education. This presentation will highlight a long-standing collaboration in Utah between a college of nursing and juvenile justice centers. Topics include nurse-led clinics, scopes of practice for nurse practitioners and RNs, and key facilitators and barriers to this partnership.
