This seminar will discuss NCCHC’s 2026 Standards for Opioid Treatment Programs in Correctional Facilities. The Standards were submitted to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in 2025 for review as required due to NCCHC’s designation as an approved accreditor for corrections-based OTPs. The Standards incorporate SAMHSA’s 2024 rules increasing access to OUD care by expanding the scope of practice for nurse practitioners and physician associates, allowing the use of telehealth, revising admission criteria, and more. Whether your facility operates an accredited OTP or is planning to establish one, this seminar will provide essential guidance on the steps needed to implement and sustain a successful program. The course includes lunch, a copy of the 2026 Standards (a $109 value), and a copy of the presentation slides.
