Sgt. Danny Barnes has served the Sheriff of Jackson County, Missouri as a law enforcement officer for more than 18 years, the most recent 13 as a supervisor. He is the supervisor of the Technology Unit. He has worked a range of assignments including patrol, full-time impaired driving enforcement, investigations, and communications. Sgt. Barnes has a special interest in the relationships between law enforcement and corrections professionals, and views cooperation between the fields as critical to their efforts.
