Dr. Wu is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a focus on corrections, with two decades of experience in academic and correctional healthcare systems. Dr. Wu is the Centurion Chief Clinical Officer and leads the organization to provide quality care with an integrated health care model leveraging innovation and technology. He has led clinical care and operations for UCONN Health and Rutgers Health's correctional healthcare programs prior to Centurion and has also provided clinical care within the Washington State Department of Corrections. Dr. Wu is a past member of the NCCHC Board of Directors representing the American College of Physicians (ACP) and continues to actively serve as a physician surveyor on accreditation surveys at some of the nation's largest jail and prison systems. He currently is a Fellow and President-Elect at the American College of Correctional Physicians (ACCP). In addition, Dr. Wu holds faculty appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine at Nova Southeastern University Kiran C. Patel School of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM) and is actively involved in training the next generation of physician leaders in correctional health care.
