Ms. Tammy D. Seeker, MSW, LMSW, LCDC, is a program supervisor V with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. She holds a MSW in direct practice (mental health) from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a BS in social psychology from Park University. Additionally, she is a doctoral student in clinical social work at Angelo State University. Ms. Seeker is a Texas-licensed master social worker, and a Texas-licensed chemical dependency counselor. She is a member of the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals, the American Board of Clinical Social Work, the International Association for Correctional and Forensic Psychology, the Society of Addiction Psychology, the Society of Clinical Psychology (SCP) and SCP’s Section IX, Assessment Psychology, the Society for Personality Assessment the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals. Ms. Seeker has worked in residential substance use facilities, mental health facilities, and juvenile prisons. Her professional interests include assessment, tests, and measures; clinical social work, counseling, and psychotherapy; correctional mental health; family treatment court; and substance use disorders and treatment.
