Mr. Michael Gardner is Director of Forensic Jail Services with MHMRTC, overseeing mental health treatment programs in the Tarrant County Jail, including Jail-Based Competency Restoration, Youth Offender Diversion, Batterers Intervention, and Diversion Navigator programs. He brings 30 years of experience serving justice-involved individuals as a jailer, youth advocate, case manager, and educator. He also has more than 20 years of experience providing offender education for individuals on probation and in specialty courts. Mr. Gardner holds master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Education and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2005 and a CCHP since 2025.
