Mr. Trey Baker is a 3x Emmy-nominated and award-winning spoken word artist, performing across the country and internationally. Along with being a featured spoken word artist with national arts institutions, he’s been awarded by President Barack Obama for his youth leadership in storytelling. He partners with school districts and youth justice agencies to facilitate experimental and healing-centered engagements through the pedagogical power of Social Poetics, driving educational transformation. He has a BA in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies from DePaul University and is pursuing his MEd at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he is also an Empowerment & Impact Fellow.
