Ms. Nancy Peterson serves as Practice Lead for Riverside University Health System Correctional Health Services, overseeing medical care across five adult jails and three juvenile halls. She brings more than two decades of emergency and critical care experience and seven years in correctional health care. She is passionate about addiction medicine and medication for opioid use disorder and co-directs the MOUD program at Riverside Corrections, reducing emergency transports and overdoses systemwide. Ms. Peterson previously served as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University School of Nursing and is dedicated to team development and evidence-based care.
