Ms. Julie Wonsowicz serves as the Community Reentry Manager at Maricopa County Correctional Health Services, where she oversees reentry services in the county jails. Ms. Wonsowicz is a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field in Maricopa County and has focused on serving justice-involved populations for the past decade. Prior to joining Correctional Health Services, Ms. Wonsowicz worked in community behavioral health, where she successfully implemented three Forensic Assertive Community Treatment teams aimed at reducing involvement with the criminal justice system and improving quality of life for individuals with serious mental illness. In 2017, these teams received a Behavioral Best Practice Award for innovation. Ms. Wonsowicz has presented at the National Council for Behavioral Health Conference and served on a SAMHSA expert panel focused on the FACT model.
