Ms. Savannah Pierson is a seasoned public health professional with more than a decade of experience in epidemiology, infectious disease surveillance, and HIV services. Ms. Pierson holds a Master of Public Health and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in biochemistry and microbiology from New Mexico State University. She currently serves as an epidemiologist with the New Mexico Department of Health, where her work focuses on incarcerated populations and medication for opioid use disorder initiatives. Ms. Pierson is a certified health education specialist committed to equity-driven health care and has contributed to national conferences and peer education initiatives.
