Ms. Rashida George is a Juvenile Justice Consultant, Restorative Justice Practitioner, Social Worker, and an advocate for various unheard communities. Her over 25 years’ experience in the helping profession, Program Design and Development and Restorative Justice training and advocacy began during tenure in the New York City public school system where she served in various roles; Educator, School Social Worker, and Administration. Her time as the Restorative Justice Coordinator for the DC Government Public Safety cluster was pivotal in the inception of her current role as the Founder of the Institute for a Restorative Future, LLC. Her passion to shift organizational culture, improve programs and services and infuse the philosophy and practice of Restorative Justice into her partnerships. Rashida holds a Master's Degree in Social Work, and Advanced Certificate in Educational Adminstration and Ledership and various mental health and education related studies.
