Ms. Salvacion Joy Santacera serves as a Supervising Registered Nurse for Sacramento County Juvenile Correctional Health. Ms. Santacera holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently an MSN candidate, with anticipated completion in 2026. She brings more than 14 years of experience as a critical care nurse and has held certification as a Certified Correctional Health Professional since 2021. Ms. Santacera previously worked as an informatics nurse for an electronic health record vendor, where she served as an educational consultant for institutions including Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, Sheppard Pratt, and the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She also supported system implementations for Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Ms. Santacera was recognized as Manager of the Year through the Kaiser Permanente AFM Awards in 2017.
