This session provides an update on research, published in 2024, relevant to the safe and respectful supervision of individuals who identify as transgender or gender diverse. In addition to discussion of new insights emerging from the research and with use of interactive technology, small groups will apply this understanding to scenarios on the topics of medical and mental health, housing placement, respectful communication, and reentry.
