This poster explores the design and implementation of a community mental health intervention, networking, and diversion program in Jefferson County, Texas. The focus is on addressing the unique mental health challenges in a community's resiliency after major hurricanes, severe weather, and industrial accidents. The program collaborated in research with the Lamar University Center for Resiliency to investigate integrating innovative strategies rooted in experiential learning and evidence-based practices for student career development.
