Mr. Stephan Malick is an Instructor of Professional Practice at the Lamar University Department of Communication and Media in Beaumont, TX. His award-winning career includes news reporting, advertising and journalism education for Hearst, Cox and formerly Donrey Media groups. Interests include enhancing communication education for students, educators and practitioners. Disaster resiliency is one current focal point for Malick and his students to explore through creating and implementing innovative strategies to engage audiences on civic and public health issues involving local governments.
