Using real-life case scenarios, participants will share experiences in negotiating the delicate balance of compassion, advocacy, and professional boundaries while healing the emotional pain of the incarcerated humans we serve. The co-leaders will discuss techniques to maintain boundaries and professional ethical standards and offer suggestions to help guard against moral injury and burnout, which can contribute to ethical lapses.
