Dr. Jennifer Pender is a Board-Certified Adult and Child Psychiatrist who spent the first twenty years of her career serving the severe and persistent mentally ill of South Carolina. She become CCHP certified after joining the staff at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. She is an avid Tar Heel having received her BS in Chemistry, MD and MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently the Behavioral Health Medical Director for Healthy Blue Medicaid of South Carolina.
